"Newsweek" reports over 70 percent of mothers with newborn babies re-enter the workforce. These babies will need to be cared for, and many will be cared for in a daycare center. Your child will need nutrition during the day, so you will need to transport bottles to the daycare center.
Safety should be a number-one concern when transporting your baby's bottles to daycare. Depending on whether you are pumping breast milk or using formula, you will need to follow careful instructions to keep your baby's bottles as fresh as possible. You will want to be sure you child is receiving the best quality and freshest milk or formula possible, and the following instructions can be helpful.
Transporting Breast Milk Bottles
Purchase a bottle cooler bag or other insulated carrier. Pump your milk into freezer storage bags. You can store frozen breast milk for up to two weeks. Label each bag of frozen breast milk with the date and time pumped, as well as your child's name. Place the frozen breast milk and bottles into the insulated storage bag along with ice packs. Instruct the daycare personnel to melt your frozen breast milk in hot water until it is lukewarm then pour into provided bottles to serve.
