I bought this pedometer for my mom for christmas in 05 and just recently bought one for myself because she loves her so much. I too love mine. As others have said, it is very easy to set your stride and then begin using the pedometer. Hooking it up to the computer and seeing your progress is even easier! It is very motivating! I had read a lot of reviews on another website about this pedometer complaining that you do not get a free web membership with your purchase. That is incorrect! You get a Silver membership, which is plenty for most people. With a silver membership it shows you your activity for the day, keeping a month’s worth of information. It also compares you to other people in your age group and also lets your enter in what you did that day, your weight that day, resting heart rate, etc. I think it is an excellent deal! I have yet to reach 10,000 steps in a day. It’s much more difficult than I thought especially when I sit at a desk all day, but I am definitely more inclined to walk when i get home from work so i can get closer to my goal of 10000 steps. I hightly recommend this pedometer. Don’t buy one of those 10 dollar pedometers. They definitely do not work very well.
